US Vice-President JD Vance has underscored his commitment to what he perceives as “God’s work,” expressing a willingness to accept if his actions hasten the end times. During a podcast interview, Vance acknowledged uncertainty about whether the world is nearing such an era but asserted that it is an inevitability. He speculated that the arrival of the end times could be millennia away or possibly much sooner.
Vance suggested that the Antichrist might already be present among us, citing contemporary societal trends that he finds concerning through a religious lens. He specifically criticized the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence in personal interactions. According to Vance, utilizing AI as a replacement for genuine human connection is “kind of satanic,” as he believes humans are inherently meant to engage in meaningful relationships with one another.
The vice-president also shared his experiences of encountering what he described as spiritual darkness during meetings with global leaders. Vance mentioned that certain comments or discussions during these meetings could set off what he referred to as a “spiritual alarm bell.”
Additionally, Vance defended President Donald Trump against criticism of an AI-generated image depicting Trump in a Christ-like fashion. Vance insisted that Trump did not intend to ridicule Christianity or present himself as a divine figure. Instead, he characterized the image as an attempt at humor.
